Learning & Wellbeing

At St Philip’s we believe that every student can learn and thrive in a learning environment that supports their ability to succeed.

Our inclusive and rigorous curriculum endeavours to equip our students with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to contribute to the world. Our approach to teaching is based on our ongoing collaborative use of data. Our teaching is future focused and our students are involved in the planning of their learning to ensure it is relevant to their lives. We provide students with tailored support. This can include: additional support in the classroom environment, and in some cases, individualised support outside the classroom; literacy support; numeracy support; social skills groups; Personalised Learning Plans; Learning Support Officer support in the classrooms; and Parent Support Group meetings.
